POSITION

Java developer

12 months contract

Columbus, OH

$55/hr on C2C

 

Needs experience with Oracle Policy Automation

 Onsite interviews are required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Review technical design documents to the ensure solutions correctly leverage the technology stack
• Conduct design reviews to ensure the design addresses the corresponding functional design
• Ensure design adheres to defined SOA principles and architecture standards
• Conduct code reviews to ensure the code meets the defined coding standards 

Required Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing J2EE web-based solutions
• Strong hands on experience with J2EE and Spring framework
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented principles
• Experience designing solution based on SOA principles & architecture
• Experience building services using SOAP, REST & POX (plain old XML)
• Hands on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware including Oracle SOA, Oracle OSB, Oracle Portal, Oracle Policy Automation is preferred
• Experience using SDLC tools; RRC(Rational Requirements Composure), RTC (Rational Team Concert) & RQM (Rational Quality Manager) is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle

• Strong communication/ leadership skills.
• Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.
• Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
• Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
• Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
• Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
