POSITION:
Position Role : TFS Admin
Assignment Location : Jersey City, NJ
Project Duration : 12+ months
REQUIREMENT:
Installation, support and maintenance/administration of TFS
• Working with Quality Assurance team to incorporate automated testing with automated builds
• Assist project managers and IT management in developing process templates, workflows and approval gates utilizing TFS
• Create and maintain backup/restore plans as well as disaster recovery plans for TFS.
• Establish best practices related to source code management, requirements management, and release deployment.
• Assist in creating and troubleshooting automated builds, release management, configuration management and deployment of various applications.
• Develop process, workflow and standards utilizing TFS to address ALM
• Assist and guide proper Source Code Branching and Merging strategies
• Configuring TFS policies for managing source control, work items, workflows, and managing traceability throughout each project collection
• Define the security, hierarchy, and roles between TFS Admin and team project administrators
• Set up and configure TFS security groups as needed
• Provide TFS expertise, ad-hoc training, workshops and guidance to application team leads
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of companion products such as Microsoft Test Manager.
