Job Title : Data Model/ Data Analyst
Location : Deerfield, IL
Duration : 05+Months Contract with Possible extension
Can Submit Only Local Candidates..
Requirements:
This position will also be responsible for creating a Physical Data Model (Sybase ASE and IQ). Including, keys, indexes, recommended partitions, etc.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Designs logical and physical data models of medium to high complexity, according to company standards.
Demonstrated logical and physical modeling experience with large scale, multiple business solutions across divisions or enterprise.
Communicate strategies and process around data modeling and data architecture to cross functional groups.
Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between application systems and business functions/operations.
This position identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data.
Demonstrated experience to develop consensus.
Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models.
Works on medium to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple data arenas.
Architects to translate business requirements into model specifications.
Interprets and Translates business requirements for data needs.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
Requires BA/BS degree in related discipline;
Minimum of 10 years of experience in logical data modeling and data analysis.
Strong Data Modeling and data analysis skills.
Understands the fundamental concepts and architectural principles of Data Management.
Possesses full life cycle experience in Data Management/Architecture.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working across multiple teams and business units.
Good decision-making capabilities possessing both conceptual and analytical skills.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels in a clear and professional manner, both verbally and written.
The ability to problem solve, prioritize projects, and multitask.
Possess competency in all phases of software development.
The ability to interact with ETL Architects, Developers, DBDs and DBAs on how the model works and be able to make enhancements based on new and future requirements.
The ability to communicate to business users and program sponsors the decisions made in the data model for optimal performance.
