Lead Service Designer and Integrator

Location – Milwaukee

Qualifications

1. Experience working on medical device programs or solid product discipline capability

2. Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs

3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, System Engineering or closely related discipline.

4. Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a related field

5. Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully leading and delivering projects

6. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging system design problems

7. Understanding of system design concepts and subsystem interactions and interfaces

8. Effective oral and written communication skills

Duties

1. Analyzing current service metrics and driving improvements in productivity within the new product development programs

2. Coordinating service feedback events with customers and service team members

3. Performing reviews for serviceability on prototype and early manufacturing builds.

4. Leading the planning, communication and execution of product introduction strategies that ensure global Service readiness by working with product development and service teams

5. Setting field replacement unit and product repair strategies and interfacing with Global Parts and Service Operations.

6. Defining procedures for installation, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and field modifications, providing content for service training, and creating and coordinating the execution of the Service Documentation verification plans and procedures.

7. Compiling pilot site feedback and leading the corrective and preventative action process.

8. Coordinating and delivering early readiness training for new product introductions to global service catchers.

9. Maintaining effective quality systems compliant with GE Quality policies

10. Developing continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives.

Background

1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other closely related fields.
