Job Responsibilities:

IT SOX Specialist

1.  Describe your previous experience working in IT Sox Compliance?

2.  Describe your technical background

Works with the IT SOX Lead assisting in the follow-up of SOX testing issues and deficiencies, including:

·     Preparation/Gathering of exposure analysis (and related memorandums) to support deficiency realized risk;

·     Interaction with IT, Internal Compliance and business leaders to gather supporting or contrary evidence regarding proposed SOX deficiencies; and,

·     Preparation of related analysis, reports, metrics and communications, as required.

Works with the IT SOX Lead assisting in identification and follow-up of IT risk and compliance issues (ITC or testing identified) including:

·     Keeping abreast of required risk related follow-up;

·     Coordination of risk follow-up communications and discussions;

·     Preparation of related analysis, reports, metrics and communications, as required,

·     Updating SOX narratives upon request, and

·     Following up on and assisting with IT remediation action plans

 Works with the IT SOX Lead assisting in analyzing IT general controls activities to optimize effectiveness and efficiency of processes reviewed and testing, including:

·     Recommending and facilitating updates to SOX narratives with IT and business liaisons;

·     Consolidation of Key controls across common control objectives;

·     Streamlining SOX controls and related processes; and,

·     Preparation of related analysis, reports, metrics and communications, as required.

·     Support IT Compliance Director in overall compliance efforts by executing monitoring controls around the ITGC environment

·     Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business partners and other team members.

·     Enforce compliance procedures such as proper/timely response and proper explanations from IT Owners when needed
