Role - IBM Infosphere MDM
Location - Austin, Taxes
Duration - 6 Months +
knowledge of IBM Infosphere MDM is must!
Responsible for the design and development activities associated with software using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Analyzes requirements and develops innovative, useful software. Modifies existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability. Participates in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Assists training with production of formal training material for sales/marketing.
•Leads or participates in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of software products.
•Manages or utilizes software that is built and implemented as a product, using best-in-class development process/lifecycle management (ex: Agile, Waterfall).
•Gathers business requirements and participates in product definition and feature prioritization, including customer usability studies. Performs competitive analysis for features at a product level scope.
•Leads the testing and fixing of new or enhanced products.
•Creates technical documentation of software products/solutions. Assists with the development and review of end user and technical end user documentation.
•Drives idea generation for new software products, or for the next version of an existing product.
•Protects Intellectual property by working appropriate legal elements (ex: procurement, patents, opensource).
•Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule and quality guidelines.
•Works with the team to develop, maintain, and communicate current development schedules, timelines and development status.
•Makes changes to system software to correct errors in the original implementation and creates extensions to existing programs to add new features or performance improvements.
•Designs and develops major functional or performance enhancements for existing products, or produces new software products or tools.
•Reviews requirements, specifications and designs to assure product quality; develops and implements plans and tests for product quality or performance assurance.
Functional Skillset.
• Excellent Understanding in Customer Master Data Management (MDM),
• Good knowledge of technical Business Analytics & Strategy solutions.
• Advance knowledge in IBM Infosphere MDM Server (v10.1, 11) including features like SDP, Standardization, Additions, Extensions and Composite Transactions across Customer and Account domains
• Advance knowledge of Out-of-the-box data model of IBM MDM Customer.
• Conversant with all phases of project Life Cycle including Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Software quality standards and configuration management and change management and Quality procedures.
• Analysis, Design and Development of J2EE Business applications, Web-based and n-tier applications using the following core technologies
• Experience in developing web based J2EE applications using Struts/JSF/Spring frameworks.
• Extensive experience and actively involved in Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Reviews, Coding, Code Reviews, Unit and Integration Testing.
• Extensive experience in designing front end interfaces.
• Experience in developing Service Oriented Applications (SOA).
• Experience with various IDEs like Eclipse.
• Implemented the projects on Agile Methodology.
• Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Experience in Business Process Analysis, Detailed Data Analysis.
Technical Skillset.
• Advance Knoweldge in IBM Infosphere V10.1, 11.0.
• Extensive experience in analysis, design and development of J2EE Business applications, Web-based and n-tier applications using the following core technologies - Java, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, EJB and XML.
• Exytensive experience in developing web based J2EE applications using Struts/JSF/Spring frameworks.
• Extensive experience in Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Reviews, Coding, Code Reviews, Unit and Integration Testing.
• Strong experience in designing front end interfaces using HTML, JSP, CSS, Java Script and Ajax.
• Strong Experience using Object Relational Mapping tool like Hibernate.
• Experience in developing Service Oriented Applications (SOA).
• Strong experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, Spring IOC, Spring Resources, Spring JDBC.
• Strong experience with various IDEs like Eclipse.
• Good working knowledge in Oracle Stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• Good working knowledge on XML Suite of Technologies XML, XSL, XSLT and validations with DTD & XML Schema and processing profile with SAX, DOM Parsers.
• Experience in developing web-services using Restful, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI.
• Experience in writing the SQL queries.
• Experience in Business Process Analysis, Detailed Data Analysis.
• Experience in designing and developing UI Screens (Forms) using Java Server Pages, Html, CSS and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Clear Case, CVS, Maven, and Subversion for Source code version control.
• Experience in creating Jasper Reports which are used to deliver rich content onto the screen, to the printer or into PDF, HTML, XLS, CSV and XML files.
• Experience preferred on tracking tools like Remedy.
• Experience in dynamic user interfaces using AJAX and JQuery, Angular JS to retrieve data .
• Experience in developing applications on different platforms like Linux, Windows.
Experience
8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Education
Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience.
