Position : ETL Developer with Oracle database exp
Location : Round Rock, TX
Duration : 8 MONTHS
Description:
ETL (Informatica)
• Provide development support, including walk through approvals, to other ETL application resources to insure that standards are followed and optimized workflow is implemented
• Tune and optimize existing ETL jobs for performance and throughput. Interact with data modelers and DBAs on data architecture optimization for ETL performance
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for ETL job issues related to pre-production and production
Database (Oracle)
• Excellent SQL and pl/SQL programming skills
• Experience with or knowledge of issues with oracle VLDBs
• Exposure to different transactional systems data models and comfortable with interaction with functional teams
• Act as a Liaison between Developers, Business Analysts and Core DBAs. Should be able to speak all three "languages"
• Provide proactive and reactive performance tuning support and strategy's as they relate to VLDBs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to collaborate and work with off-shore teams
