Job Description:

QlikView/OBIEE Developer Candidate should have an extensive knowledge of Reporting, BI and Data Visualization tools especially QlikView. They should have the ability to embrace new technologies quickly and apply their knowledge and experience to BI/Data products and associated implementation projects. Must have to know SQL, PLSQL . Highly Prefer Candidates with OBIEE experience.

Technical competency in the following:

Good understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts including Databases, Data Modeling, ETL, Reporting and Analytics Proficiency & varied experience in QlikView as analytic tool and any ETL , RDBMS/MDDB, OLAP/MOLAP, Data Modeling tool.

 

Key Responsibilities

Perform analysis of source system data and model that data in QlikView

Work closely with technical team to design, develop, and test QlikView applications/dashboards based upon software specifications, user/business requirements, and design standards

Effectively visualize data in QlikView applications (dashboards, reports, etc.) in order to efficiently answer business questions

Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView reports/dashboards to meet customer requirements

Use sound software engineering principles to design and develop code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, and fault tolerant

 

OBIEE: At least 3+ years of Development/Administration experience

Experience with Oracle OBIEE 11g Administration tool for RPD development

Design and develop the OBIEE Metadata Repository including the physical layer, business model, mapping and presentation layer for various subject areas. 8. Oracle OBIEE 11g Analysis and Dashboards

Experience in creating BI Publisher reports

Experience in OBI Applications

Creating and Managing Application Roles in Oracle OBIEE EM

Experience in managing user privileges.

Experience in designing custom style sheets.

 

General Skills:

Train and support customers of QlikView applications

Experience in developing re-usable frame-work and components

Experience working on SDLC methodology

Experienced in understanding the flow of data between source and target database, Data analysis and analytical skill.

 

Required Experience:

At least 5+ years of IT experience.

Qlikview: 3+ years

SQL, PLSQL : 5+ Years

OBIEE: 3+ years
