Responsible for process architecture in their area. Process architecture includes both the hierarchy of processes inventories and how they directly relate to business notions such as capabilities, human and IT resources, risks, controls, measurement and more.
Provides process leadership to one or more business areas and delivers in many business areas over time
Leads process improvement work and provides guidance and coaching to Business Analysts on good process documentation, modeling and analysis practices.
Identifies KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and PPI (Process Performance Indicators) to aid in measuring success of processes and business performance.Understands how KPI and PPI tie up to business strategy to optimize the whole. Understands how measurement drives human behavior.
Responsible for process modeling, analysis and improvement in their area
Analyzes processes for efficiency and effectiveness; provides solutions for minimizing complexity and waste; recommends opportunities for process automation
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and follows through with analysis, recommendations and coordination of proposed project plans with business architecture
Designs processes for automated workflow, execution in a BPMS by partnering with process automation professionals.
Coordinates with internal partners over capability models to ensure processes support corporate strategies and are used to drive strategy execution
Leads business requirements gathering, clarification and use in process improvement work
Responsible for appreciating and understanding End to End processes to ensure that sub optimization of the whole doesn't occur during process improvements in their area
Applies BPM (Business Process Management) methods to deliver improved customer experience and reduced operational costs
Assists in efforts of the Process Center of Competency toward achieving higher process maturity in process governance and value
Evangelizes process benefits to stakeholders in their area
Works with business and IT leadership and functional teams to define process measures and metrics
Assists with change management during process improvements
Desired Skills and Experience
4+ years in a leadership role in medium to large complexity, enterprise scope business process improvement projects .2+ years consulting industry experience is a plus but not required 3+ years project management experience
Experience in various areas of retail and customer service
Bachelor degree related to the discipline of business process is desirable
Strong analytical skills and experience with of process metrics and performance success criteria
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must
Experience with a process mapping and/or modeling tool including working knowledge or BPMN – Business Process Modeling Notation
Strong written and verbal communication / presentation skills – with varied audiences across the organization
Strong collaboration and team-building skills – with cross-functional teams of business & IT leads
Strong influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels – especially with business process and IT
