Role: Hadoop developer Overall 8+ (2+ in Hadoop and 1+ in Spark)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

 Work Duration: Contract

Interview: Phone/ Skype

 

Required Experience and Technical Skills:-

Mandatory skills sets: Hive, Spark SQL
Desired skill sets: Hadoop technologies, Python, Kafka.

Additional JD:
- Hands-on experience with Spark SQL
- Migration and optimisation of Hive queries to run with Spark engine on Hortonworks Data Platform
- Overall experience with writing complex SQL queries to manipulate large data sets and gather analytics

Detailed JD for suitable profiles:
· Person should have worked in large node Clusters >100 node and previous DW experience
· Worked in Hadoop Hive HQL for 2-3 years and other associated technologies in Hadoop
· Hadoop 2.x is preferred
· Spark SQL exp. for 1+ years. Must have hands-on experience
· Experience handling large volume of Data and Semantic processes
