Position: Developer Oracle/HL7/.Net Location: Richmond, VA Duration: Long Term Interview: In-Person Only *local candidates strongly preferred *please submit candidates who WERE NOT submitted to the previous reqs, 464227 and 464026. *ALL candidates MUST be able to attend a personal interview, NO phone interviews, NO Skype, NO exceptions *candidates MUST be able to be hired directly by the agency without sponsorship, NO exceptions Seeking a Developer to provide support for HL7 interface development and also support application development, data migration, Statistical and Management Reporting and Data Exchange processes. Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be a team player. Ability to foster good working relationships with team members and users. Ability to work in fast paced public health laboratory environment and manage multiple deadlines. Minimum of 3 years experience with HL7 interface development. Experience in any message broker such as Orion Rhapsody, Mirth etc is required. Experience in writing complex SQL and writing Oracle PLSQL programs is required. Experience in Web application development using .Net is required. Experience using Crystal 11 reports and Oracle 11G - 12c is preferred. Experience with data modeling and designing logical and normalized databases, web application interfaces and reports that meets user and technical specifications. Should be familiar in using source control tools and issue tracking tools. Must be willing to take and pass a criminal/finger print background check.
