Job Description:  

Required Skills:

·         A Security Engineer who has strong experience in Information security management of Servers and End-point systems

·         Experience with Symantec CSP/DCS or Mcafee HIPS or TrendMicro DeepSecurity is a must

·         Solid understanding of Security configurations on Unix/Linux OS, File systems, Unix kernel and kernel objects

·         Should have basic understanding on the Access Management concepts like Authentications, Authorizations etc.

·         Should have minimum one year experience in Access Management. Should have installed and configured at least one AM product like - Siteminder, RSA etc

·         Should be able to write programs independently. Good at advanced JE concepts such as Distributed transactional computing, n-tier J2EE architecture, Distributed multitier applications, Java 2 platform, JE components, Container services, Container types, JE servers and Containers & Application deployment architecture.

·         Ability to effectively work with the Compliance/Systems Administration Team for customizing System-Security Policies for HIPS-HIDS, File-Integrity monitoring, NAC filtering

·         Knowledge on Compliance assessment of IT assets against pre-defined standards and custom standards

·         Perl, Shell scripting or Python will be an advantage

·         Good Knowledge in Security Hardening, Endpoint security controls

Responsibilities:

·         Administration of Symantec DCS, creating and customizing FIM, NAC & IPS policies against pre-defined and custom standards.

·         Maintaining and Monitoring the DCS/CSP agents on the Target hosts

·         Analyzing and optimizing the baseline & custom policies to reduce false-positives and non-critical events

·         Coordinating with App-Server owners & Incident Response teams for resolving/remediating the security incidents.

·         Tool upkeep and management (Administration, backup co-ordination, patch management, etc.)

·         Co-ordination with vendor for problem resolution

·         Creation of necessary reports working in co-ordination with account team

·         Support Rollout of agents to additional servers

·         Testing and Implementation of new features in the tool, Infrastructure upscale and software upgrades

Mandatory Skills: Symantec, Critical System Protection, Unix OS, McAfee HIDS-HIPS, Web Access Management, Java-J2EE
