Description: Sr. Java Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Length: 6-12 months

Overview:

The client is a Large Financial Services organization that is currently developing new applications as well as re-engineering additional legacy applications. Client is looking for advanced Java Consultant (or ideally Scala, but if they're Java then they need to be willing/eager to learn Scala while at the client).

 

Required Skills:

•             Must have 7+ years of Hands on Java Development

•          Must have minimum of 1+ year of Scala experience

•          Experience with Apache Kafka

•          Experience with Docker / Kubernetes

•             Must have experience with Functional programming

•             Must have experience with  Event driven architecture (CQRS)

•             Experience with TDD / BDD is preferred

•             Excellent Communication skills.
