Position: Lead Python Developer
Location: Doral, FL
Duration: 12 Months Contract
SENIOR LEAD Python developer Request (8+ years or more of Python development experience)
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION is an important requirement
• Database interface interactions
• Being able to build and organize collections.
• API development experience to feed the front--end UI information, to create a good set of APIs and maintain.
• Work with Back-end and Front-end Engineers to build features
• Design and implementation of high volume persistent data storage solutions
• Design and implementation of data retrieval mechanisms using REST and SOAP
• Data storage, retrieval, and computational performance optimization
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Integrating Open Source libraries to leverage Open Source community knowledge
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Find and address performance issues
• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Identify and communicate back-end best practices
• Document Architecture and Design and review with team
Position Requirements
• 8+ years of minimum experience (more experienced the better) as a Python Developer and in software development with a focus on back-end development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced and Very Proficient in Python – Must have been a LEAD Python Developer – Managed teams
• Django familiarity - a plus
• Data migration, transformation, and scripting needed
• Cloud architecture (AWS such as EC2, Lambda, Cassandra, etc.) familiarity - a plus
• Mongo DB knowledge needed
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies
