Job Title: DB2 DBA
Location: Franklin, TN
Duration: 4+ Months Contract
Must-haves
5+ years experience working with DB2
Bachelors Degree
Expertise is one or more of the following: database partitioning, database compression, data encryption, replication, disaster recovery
Demonstrated performance monitoring and tuning ability, including an aptitude to lead the diagnosis and resolution of performance problems within a large-scale, complex infrastructure.
Technical skills and the ability to implement new tools are most important. Communication/leadership aren’t as important as technical ability on this position, but they will need to be able to communicate/work with our current team.

This position is being added to assist with a major application upgrade that will require a significant amount of DB2 database administration support as well as the implementation of IBM’s Optim Archive tool on DB2 z/OS on the mainframe. We are looking for someone with very strong technical DB2 z/OS skills.
