Cassandra Developer
- Strong in Cassandra ( preferred) or another NOSQL Database. This is primarily an Application Developer Role. Need to be able to Model in Cassandra . Write CQL queries to get data out of Cassandra in the most optimal way. Need to understand the transactional aspects to be able to determine the right Consistency Level etc.
- Responsibilities will include Code Review. Subject Matter Expert who can guide other developers on the best practices of developing applications using Cassandra DB, as well as define standards.
- String Java Developer Background. Experience in building RESTful web services that interact with a Database.
Job Description Angular:
The Lead Applications is responsible for leading a team of developers, analyst and contractors (on-shore and off-shore), in the end-to-end execution of custom development efforts within a development team.
The position ensures that all work follows the SDLC processes and enforce coding standards for all technologies. The incumbent ensures that all deliverables are completed on time and in budget and that all SLAs are met. The role reports to a Manager with personnel responsibility for the development team, but assumes supervisory responsibility on assigned software development efforts.
III. Key Responsibilities
This is a position with supervisor responsibility. The position is responsible for the delivery of IT work products that involve a team of contributors. This position supervises others on specific tasks or work streams. Typical tasks and work products include:
· Manage and support the development and implementation of custom software applications
· Provide realistic cost, effort and duration estimates for software development activities
· End-to-end ownership of discrete development activities (budget, schedule, functionality, quality, technical realization)
· Provide team leadership towards the completion of development activities on-schedule within budget and per quality expectations
· Liaise with the Program Management function of the department to provide project estimates, scheduling and completion updates to the customers
· Oversee activity of staff to ensure that production problems are resolved quickly, ensuring continued accurate system operations. At the team level, meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.
· Manage the team budget for development activities by managing the deployment of on-shore and off-shore contractors.
· Drive adherence to best practice development processes
· Act as the project manager of small scale development projects
Job Requirements :
The position requires significant technical and management expertise to add measurable value to the work completed by others.
· The position requires the following technical skills:
· J2EE, MVC (Struts), Spring, JDBC, JSP, JSF, relational databases, SQL, XML, Servlets, Web Services and JavaScript required
· Ibatis, Oracle ADF, SOA Suite, JDeveloper, Weblogic desired
· Full Systems Development Life Cycle projects utilizing the JAVA 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform
· Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, modeling and OAF
· Full Systems Development Life Cycle projects utilizing the JAVA 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platform
· Familiarity with Inversion of Control (IoC) and Aspect Oriented Programming (AOP) and frameworks, preferable the Spring framework.
· Experience with version control systems, preferable CVS.
· Knowledge of Functional or Automated Testing methods/tools like JUnit and JMeter.
· Other knowledge or expertise required:
· BS in Computer Science or related discipline
· 8+ years of hands on experience
· Strong problem solving and decision making skills
· Strong communication skills
· Some knowledge of ADF is a plus
· The candidates must also be adept in providing quality assurance checkpoints related to tiered development including object design, model design, and Java, JSP and SQL code reviews prior to solution releases.

Job Description Cassandra :
The incumbent will work with senior developers, business analysts and technical leads to design and develop highly usable web-based user interfaces for custom applications that support the company's Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash processes. The P2P and O2C workbenches will be redesigned as part of a global multi-year Enterprise Transformation program. They will standardize diverging processes in the various global business units in the Land, Aviation and Marine markets and leverage standard functionality provided by the Oracle EBS ERP backend.

Job Requirements :
• Strong development skills, including object oriented JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Sass, AJAX, JSON, XML • Knowledge of other languages/technologies such as Java, Groovy/Grails, etc. • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Knockout.js, Angular.js, Node.js, and jQuery • Experience with front-end build tools such as Grunt or Gulp • Experience with version control tools such as Git • Familiarity with developing across multiple devices/platforms and browsers • Strong user experience and visual design skills • 4+ years' experience in UI development • Passion for unobtrusive JavaScript and standards compliant HTML5 and CSS3 • Knowledge of UI Concepts including application development using MVC architecture • Self-directed • Capable of working in a fast paced Agile (scrum) environment • Proficiency in subject matter must be developed.
