Position: System security Engineer(RACF)
Location: Birmingham, AL
Duration: 12+ months

Essential Skills:

Analyze current state RACF sec .
Competencies   System Z - Security Management.
Experience:4-6 Years.
RACF security implementation.
RACF security implementation, administration, analysis, and audit including quality management of the RACF security implementation with a focus on technical system risks and controls (including such environments and elements as Batch Surrogate and PropCntl; STC; CICS; USS; Master Catalog; and Storage Administration).
Analyze current state RACF security controls. Determine the scope/scale of defined control issues, and determine/estimate the impacts, implications of security uplift on users, operations, and processes.
Prepare, test, and implement RACF security changes in a production environment.
Migrate Dataset and Resource profiles from WARN mode to enforced security.
Establish security event reporting to monitor sensitive data and events that may indicate the exploitation of identified RACF security control weaknesses for interim control until the weaknesses are mitigated.
Uplift the use of zSecure Audit, Alerts and other zSecure features that will improve security quality monitoring and management.
