Qualifications:
• 10-15 years of strong background with Windows-based (Server 2003, 2008 & 2012), UNIX/Linux-based systems (RedHat Linux 5.x/6.x, Oracle Solaris10/11, tCserver) will be plus.
• 8 + years Application administration and monitoring in a Linux/Solaris environment.
• Proficient with deployments, Installs, configurations, maintenance, and patching of multiple application servers (i.e.) WebSphere 6.x, 7.x, 8.5.5 tcServer/apache-tomcat
• Thorough understanding of enterprise system design challenges.
• Under Graduate degree in CS/CE/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field.
• Professional level vendor certifications, such as PMP, ITIL, Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, and/or Linux.
• Design, review, analyze, develop, implement and maintains complex software applications and services.
• Work closely with peer architects to ensure decisions meet long term enterprise growth needs
• Maintain current applications which includes, but is not limited to, deploying bug fixes and feature enhancements, researching/troubleshooting issues, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; Identify and implements solutions.
• Research and implement new technologies and patch sets to enhance current processes, security and performance
• Develop and Maintain system and application documentation with regard to troubleshooting, maintenance, start/stop, logging, etc.
• Have understanding of Java applications, and J2EE framework, Proficient with Oracle Database 11g and Toad.
• Identity Management including with LDAP, experience with Oracle's OID product is a plus. Must have Networking Knowledge (Sockets, TCP/IP, UDP)
• Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards.
• Demonstrated Agile methodology experience, including technology delivery methods
• Knowledge of SOX/PCI Compliance environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication
