Technical/Functional Skills:
Duties and Responsibilities •
Proficient with Pig Scripts and Hadoop architecture •
Definition and setup of partitioned zones for development, QA, and production environments within the Hadoop cluster •
Definition, configuration, and management of data storage (HDFS, Hive, HBASE, Parquet) •
Hadoop query development and performance tuning using Hive, Impala, and Spark • Work with developers to move data in/out of Hadoop •
Security setup and management functions •
Metadata management •
Mentoring of architecture and development teams with Hadoop and Cloudera tools •
Understanding complex business needs, analyzing, designing, and developing solutions •
Setting standards and writing process documentation •
Excellent English oral and written communication skills •
Collaboration and team player orientation
Responsibility:
