Position : Project Manager
Rate: $60/hr C2C
8 to 10 years of experience needed
Managers Request during call with him:
· Treasury management experience – needed
o Will do Receivable transformation work
o Will do New receivables software work
o Will help add new sites to existing Bank listing
o Upgrade new software in Bank
· Corporate receivables experience – a plus
· Waterfall and Agile experience – needed (Moving from Waterfall projects to Agile – hence need both)
· Familiarity with Scrum and managing Scrum meetings
· PEP and Analysis knowledge
· JIRA skills needed
· Work with team in Dallas, TX - but based in Birmingham
Three interview – telephone and Skype possible
Responsibilities:
· Leads project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and sub-contract management, progress reporting, trouble-shooting and problem resolution to effectively manage project related to new business, product initiatives or operational implementations.
· Ensures project results meet established requirements regarding quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
· Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
· Solves problems throughout the life of the project and tries to resolve problems during the design and planning phases when possible.
· Oversees and coordinates any work performed by outside vendors.
· Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors and management.
· Participates in budget development and evaluating how project plan changes impact cost and schedule.
· Able to run project in both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
Requirements:
· Prior project management experience a must and preferably in the financial services industry specific to Treasury Mgt.
· Confident written and verbal communicator who had demonstrated the ability to share ideas and influence others, removing barriers and improving organizational effectiveness.
· Possesses a thorough understanding of project management principles and team development concepts, as well as industry recognized approaches and tools.
· Computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Office and project management software.
· Highly organized with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
· A reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills.
· Experience in Agile (Scrum) Methodology a must.
Desired Additional Skills:
· Experience in transitioning from waterfall to agile
· Corporate account receivables knowledge
· PEP and Analysis knowledge.
· Experience running a standup meeting as a scrum Master
