Job Title: Network Engineer (Cipher/ Encryption)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 1 Year Contract with possible extension
Level of Exp: Beginner to intermediate
Mode of Interview: Phone + In-person (Need Local resources only)
(Any Visa is fine)
Rate: $35/hr on C2C
Responsibilities:
· This position will be part of the Network Access Management team supporting business and technology initiatives.
· The primary responsibility will be to provide operational management and support for our global WAN encryption.
· The successful candidate will be responsible for handling service requests, analyzing and validating requirements, managing change and troubleshooting efforts.
· This individual will assist with reviewing existing tools, applications and processes to help strengthen and optimize current capabilities, as well as identify any gaps or technical solutions to further enhance the team's effectiveness.
· Additionally, the successful candidate will support leadership, business and technology teams with technical recommendations, documentation and reporting.
· Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and troubleshooting techniques is required.
Required Qualifications:
· In-depth understanding of and experience with TCP/IP protocols
· Understanding of Internet routing, including BGP and OSPF
· Experience with routers, switches, and other LAN/WAN equipment.
· Understanding of network encryption (IPSEC, TLS, SSL)
· Knowledge of VPN, tunneling, and encryption.
· Experience with network security and firewalls
· Experience with Windows and Linux servers
· Familiarity with network diagnostic and monitoring tools
· Comfortable on the CLI and Web UI interfaces
· Experience with a site with a 100% up-time requirement
· Excellent presentation/verbal communication skills and the ability to train and mentor other team members.
· Proven problem solver with ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex problems, manage risk and make quick decisions.
· Experience in relationship management and collaboration skills with external vendor partners, technology colleagues and business partners.
· Familiarity with data center design, layout, power and environmental requirements.
· Cisco Certification and ITIL Accreditation preferred
This position will be part of the Network Access Management team supporting business and technology initiatives. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the design, deployment, and documentation of a innovative nationwide authentication platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for standing up a nationwide Authentication platform. The applicant must have strong communication skills and a deep knowledge in system troubleshooting and support.

Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of AAA design and deployment
• Experience with Certificates
• Experience with 802.1x
• Knowledge of MAC authentication Bypass (MAB)
• Knowledge of Authentication and authorization policies
• Knowledge of TrustSec
• Conduct design review for fresh implementation based off best
• practices for large scale deployments
• Analyze information provided from existing legacy AAA system to
• populate new system
• Coordinate with other internal groups to validate existing information
• from existing legacy AAA system
• Configure and deploy authentication appliances based off approved
• design
• Prepare documentation for system administrators and training
• Documentation for system consumers
• Monitor servers and applications for errors and performance problems
• Coordinate with other internal groups to facilitate backups, event
• monitoring, and other services
• Apply updates, enhancements, and configuration changes to the authentication platform to meet business requirements
• Assist troubleshooting and development efforts
• Deployment and administrative experience with authentication
• Experience with Active Directory integration of authentication
• Knowledge of network device management protocols (TACACS+, RADIUS)
• Experience in a multi-tiered, distributed and diverse infrastructure a

• Must have experience in highly available, large-scale service provider environments
• Fundamental networking skills and basic network troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal direction, yet able to work in a team
