1. Experienced PHP Ninja - 5 + Years PHP Developer Experience.
2. Experience with: Laravel frameworks
3. Object Oriented Programming
4. Experience working with and creating web services.
5. Experience with MVC Architectural Patterns.
6. Understanding of Client / Server RESTful Communications (WebSockets Bonus)
7. Experienced AngularJS Application Developer (Bonus)
8. Cloud Concepts based on OpenStack, AWS, or other Cloud Providers – Bonus
9. Understanding of Concurrent and Parallel programing concepts. (Bonus)
10. Continuous Integration

• Custom web based deployment and management portal. (Ruby, Goliath, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Web Sockets, Single Page Application, MySQL)
Project Description:
PHP Developer for BestBuy.com Operations. Help build operational tools for Bestbuy.com.
We are currently looking for a Full-Stack PHP Developer to work on our web based Analytic and Monitoring tools. The intent of our projects are to provide insight to day-to-day operations of BestBuy.com applications. This projects depends on PHP + Laravel for the backend.
The ideal candidate:
• Is self-directed and shared collective ownership for design decisions
• Uses the best tools for the job, be those open source or otherwise
• Strongly favors TDD and BDD development methodologies
• Up to date with current tools and techniques
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
Comfortable working in an Apple MacBook development environment
Position Overview:
Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
• Developing
• Working in Paired Programming Environment on an as needed basis
• Unit testing
• Quality Assurance of unit testing
• Work with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef and Vagrant (bonus)
What would a normal day for this position look like??
• Heads down developing
• Collaboratively working with current PHP Developer
• Taking direction from current Sr. Developer
• Status update meetings
