Contract Position: IT Healthcare (Medicaid) Consultant

Duration: 6 months w/possible extension

Location: Clemson, SC

 End Client: State Client of SC

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

·         This position will provide comprehensive IT support for Medicaid IT systems and the customer.

·         Primary responsibilities will be serving as a subject matter expert on infrastructure and operations of the Medicaid Management Information Replacement System (MMIS) and Replacement MMIS (RMMIS), Medicaid Eligibility Determination System (MEDS), and Eligibility & Enrollment Member Management System (EEMMS).

 

REQUIRED SKILLS /EXPERIENCE

·         Medicaid IT infrastructure experience (10+ years of experience mandatory)

·         Bachelors degree

·         RUP methodology

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

·         Medicaid IT systems/operations experience

·         Vendor management experience

·         Healthcare industry experience and/or experience managing PHI/PII data

·         Conduct research into infrastructure issues and products

·         Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems

·         Network Operations Center experience is a plus

·         Public sector experience is a plus
