Position: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Melville, New York

Duration: 12+ Year 
 
Major Responsibilities:

·         Candidate must be a self-starter, as candidate must have experience with Oracle Knowledge and/or OBIEE application and configuration on the job.

·         Knowledge of Java or other programming language is desired.

·         Ability to write SQL database queries is required.

·         Analyze system and application requirements as they relate to "Oracle Knowledge" and "OBIEE" applications that provides knowledgebase and support tools for use by internal Canon support agents and for web self-service.

·         Review and troubleshoot daily break/fix/enhancement requests.

·         Conduct or attend meetings with business/IT groups regarding enhancement requests and open support tickets, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items.

·         Develop/Document use cases and test scenarios for new enhancements.

·         Oversee the deployment process of application enhancements onto Development, QA, and Production environments.

·         Coordinate and participate in integration testing - Document configuration set up for each environment when deploying new applications.

·         Maintain project plans and status reports to track open issues and development progress.

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.

·         Someone with Oracle Knowledge, OBIEE, Weblogic, Apache, sql, UNIX, java server pages.  

·         Excellent communication skills, capable of self-directed work, self-starter.

·         Someone with application support experience in a controlled environment who is capable of occasional off-hours support and has familiarity creating SR's with Oracle Support.
