Sr  SALESFORCE QA

Duration: 6 months+

Location: Denver, CO

Start: ASAP

 

This position is for a hands-on QA Analyst responsible for all aspects of QA within the software development lifecycle supporting the Distribution technologies and driving business initiatives to successful completion. The current project initiative involves adding custom functionality to the Salesforce1 mobile application to support our Retirement Sales Consultants & Retirement Sales management

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work with business representatives, developers and BAs to implement project intiatives featuring Salesforce.com and the Salesforce1 mobile application
• Manage the deployment and control of our QA process which encompasses a wide variety of software test projects and application technologies for distribution 
• Developing and maintaining knowledge base of business processes, applications and QA practices and development methodologies
• Develop and socialize robust test plans, test cases and other test artifacts coordinate and perform all necessary types of testing including data quality testing, unit , functional and integration
• Ability to develop, debug, execute and maintain test automation scripts is highly desirable 
• Able to work in an Agile project with 2 week sprints and evolving user requirement specifications
• Interface closely with development and operational groups in support of software and production releases

COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS: 

• Excellent knowledge of Salesforce.com technology, from both UI and data integration perspectives 
• Knowledge of mobile testing, especially testing customizations to the Salesforce1 mobile application
• Knowledge of the FitNesse test tool, and ability to test web services effectively as part of SOA implementation and data quality testing 
• Experience creating test cases (unit, GUI, UAT and stress) scripts, utilizing automated tools such as FitNesse, including defect tracking and source code control
• Strong SQL skills, preferably Oracle
• Knowledge of financial business sector, mutual funds or banking business a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to work with people across geographies
• CANDIDATE MUST HAVES
