Description:
The Data Architect will assist in defining and lead the design and execution of the IT Data Strategy. This position will help design data schemas for new applications, evaluate and update data schemas for existing applications, build out and support SSIS packages for data integration between systems and assist the DBA, development and server staff as needed for designing and maintaining the data platform for the company.
Another facet to this role is to design, execute and manage a new Data Warehouse initiative. The right candidate will have experience in data warehouse design, execution and maintenance. This candidate will have the ability to lead a project and do project planning.
Healthcare experience and excellent communication skills necessary as this role will interact with business users on reporting needs and requirements definition.
Job Functions:
Design and Develop Application Data Models
Ensure the consistent use of Enterprise Reference Data within the application and Data Warehouse data models.
Oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality.
Design, implement and maintain SSIS packages
Be knowledgeable of Metadata
Be Knowledgeable of Normalization and Denormalization.
Qualifications:
8+ years of SQL experience
Healthcare Experience
Strong communication skills
Strong SSIS skills
Data Modeling Skills/Schema Best Practices
SQL 2014
