Additional information | i. Responsible for the direction, strategy, design and communication of software architecture to ensure that technical software is extensible, scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and achieves business and IT performance. · Provide architectural building blocks and fundamental design concepts, ensuring robust design using repeatable and reliable processes and reusable modules (SOA). · Generate prototypes, models, early user guides to keep the engineers and users constantly up to date and in agreement on the system to be provided as it is evolving. · Leads cross-functional team efforts to define architecture roles for strategic and tactical projects to ensure that alignment to architecture roadmap strategies are achieved. · Ensure that the technology footprint is maintained in a scalable fashion. · Lead the architecture assessment planning and executions for system retirements and migrations to new platforms. · Produce and maintain the appropriate technical and architectural documentation. · Provide standards, framework, code reviews and guidance to engineering organization. · Interface with stakeholders to determine the evolving needs of multiple organizations (IT Operations, Business Units, Product Management, etc.) · Research and evaluate software products for fitness and licensing cost. |
