Title: Senior ETL Developer

Location: 3+ months contract

Duration: Hunt Valley, MD.

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

 

This individual will be part of a dynamic, fast paced team utilizing cutting edge technologies. This person will work towards completing project completion goals for one of their major applications. Duration: 3 month contract, with potential for extension

 

·         Strong recent experience working as a Sybase Database Developer on ASE 15.7/12.5.4 versions.

·         Experience creating Database objects (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Triggers etc);

·         Experience with Sybase Transact SQL programming and proficient in the following areas:

·         Stored Procedures, Cursors, Triggers, Transactions, Batch programming;

·         Experience with performance tuning of Stored procedures /triggers;

·         Very good understanding of Query plans.

·         Should be able to fine tune queries.;

·         Solid experience with Sybase Client utilities such as isql, bcp, defncopy etc.;

·         Unix Shell scripting and experience with cron scheduler desirable;

 

Preferred:

·         Database design concepts for OLTP as well as DW applications.

·         Experience with Sybase Replication server - especially around creating replication stored procedures.

·         Experience /Exposure to Sybase IQ 16.0 is highly desirable.
