Position: SQL Server Developer with Strong Experience in ETL Technologies (Local Only Required)
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary:
· Extract, transform, load, process, evaluate and maintain integrity of client-provided data.
· Programming and developing utilizing ETL tools, which extract raw payroll files, transform payroll data to current system specifications, and export load-ready files for system import.
· Advanced ad hoc analysis or amendment of data and report generation using SQL, hand-editing, bulk imports and other ETL tools.
· Performing regular quality assurance review of all assigned client data files and reporting all applicable issues to the business owner for review and resolution by the client.
Essential Functions of the Job:
· Create and/or maintain ETL solutions for very large data sets. Create and/or maintain high-level reporting systems using SQL or other ETL tools Develop and enforce database administration and user standards and procedures as well as oversee user security provisioning and database access.
· Collaborate with business process owners to define requirements, design, develop and deploy applications or solutions to meet these requirements accurately. Troubleshoot and support various MS Access / SQL databases developed and utilized by this EY team to ensure optimal performance and data reliability at all times.
· Complete various data-related projects as directed by supervisor or Manager. Effectively teaming with other groups internally to assure expectations are met and deliverables are on-time.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or 5-8 years of related work experience (minimum). Proficient using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access
· Programming experience with TSQL using SSAS, SSIS or SSRS. History using Clover ETL or other ETL software preferred. Additional experience using .Net (VB or C#), XML and Java is helpful. Familiarity with tax-related concepts
Supervision Responsibilities:
· Candidate will work directly under the manager of the team but will need to have the ability to act independently and work within a teaming environment. Candidate will be responsible for completing second level review of various file types and deliverables.
