Job Title: Java/J2EE Developer
Work Location: Sacramento, CA

Job Description:
We need someone with knowledge and experience in developing both Web based and standalone backend applications. Someone with good knowledge in Perl scripting language and Sybase DBMS is highly preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS (Bullet points in Red fonts are most important):
• Highly proficient in developing intranet based web applications running on Websphere Application Server v6.0 or above (server and client side). Working experience with JBOSS is a plus.
• Highly experienced in J2EE platform, Java, Java servlets, JSP, STRUTS, and HTML, XML, HTML, JasperReports, Design Patterns and JDBC, and SQL.
• Highly experienced in developing and maintaining standalone backend/batch processes using Java and Perl.
• Working experience in Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise v.15 and Oracle 11g or higher.
• Must be proficient in Sybase SQL (SQL, stored procedures, triggers) and Oracle PL/SQL (SQL, stored procedures, triggers, packages).
• Experienced in creating business object, DAOs, and non-trivial data structures.
• Experienced in developing database connection pool and JMS/MQ enabled applications.
• Must be proficient in object orientated and component design.
• Familiarity with the various desktop development tools/scripts - Eclipse, ANT, Clearcase, TOAD and SQL*Plus.
• Knowledge of IBM AIX or UNIX system and Unix/Linux shell scripting is essential
• Strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills.
