Role: Lead Front-end Developer
Location – Raleigh/Durham, NC
Duration: 6+ Months
Consultant will work in a Tech Lead function, so must be assertive, technically strong with the hands on development, and have the ability to drive the front-end development for this project, as this is a new technology they are implementing.
Key skills are developing a robust, dynamic front-end of an application using JavaScript, Angular.JS, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
Job Description:
For the Rep Experience product, looking to hire a strong lead front-end application software engineer who will be developing new applications in AngularJS/Node.JS/HTML5 technology stack. This person must have strong communication and collaborative skillset and experience delivering enterprise level applications. This position will be based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
Develop front-end web-based enterprise applications in AngularJS/Node.JS/HTML5 technology stack.
Participates in design reviews, code peer reviews, unit testing and integration testing
Drives technical decision making for matrix program delivery teams
Works under minimal direction to integrate internally developed or vendor applications within the current systems environment and applications
Work with the systems analyst in digesting business requirements and building out business capability.
Use case generation that illustrates business process for mapping integration into current environment
Experience in SDML (Agile/Waterfall) to ensure on time project delivery with the highest possible quality
Extensive hands-on experience with a variety of web-side, server-side technologies, databases, and frameworks
Experience in designing & developing operations ready applications is preferred
Qualification & Technical Stack:
Qualified applicant should have 4+ years of programming experience in a complex, multi-platform environment.
Solid experience with open source tools & libraries: Spring framework, AngularJS, Node.JS, jQuery, Spring MVC
Exposure to Systems Integrations skills utilizing an array of products which could include ETL (DataStage, Informatica), Messaging (MQ), RDBS (DB2, Oracle, and Sybase), Java, WebSphere, Scheduling (Control-M) and other technologies.
Provides application support for appropriate platform
Experience with data analysis, work flow and mapping.
Database experience required, Oracle preferred
Unix/Linux operating system experience required
Experience with Tomcat is required / Websphere and/or Weblogic is also preferred
Experience in a diverse set of distributed / web based application development and middleware technologies such as .Net, C#, Oracle, Web Services, XML, Java, J2EE, SQL,HTML
Experience with Enterprise Application Integration solutions is required
Financial systems background including industry standards
Flexibility and a genuine desire to learn
Strong problem solver with excellent team/partnering skills
Solid communication (written, oral) skills
Ability to meet deadlines
