Position Summary:
The CLC Automation Business Analyst will be responsible for documenting business processes with SMEs and requirements gathering for technology initiatives that are both focused on customer service, as well as for large enterprise-level investments where there are requirements for the customer service area(s) in order to achieve the targeted end state, process improvements and related organizational adjustments.
The candidate should possess extensive business and procedural knowledge in order to participate in gathering and building a process warehouse that will allow extensive system automation and self-service initiatives to be designed and developed.
Principal Responsibilities:
Functional:
· Participates in the gathering of knowledge for area SME's to ensure a process warehouse is constructed to assist in system redesign, automation and self service capabilities.
· Discovering and documenting business/IT processes and workflows.
· Identifying business/functional requirements by working with key client personnel or end-users.
· Write user stories which detail the requirements.
· Ensures project timelines and documentation are created and maintained throughout the knowledge capture lifecycle in appropriate repositories.
· Keeps project team informed of status updates and changes related to project deliverables.
· Effectively communicates relevant project information to management.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Experience in requirements gathering including downstream and upstream interface requirements.
· Experience in documentation of business process flows.
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to handle multiple projects with competing interests for time and evolving priorities.
· Positive, outgoing and energetic personality.
· Ability to adapt easily to change.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and Visio).
