Required years of Experience:
I5: Sr. Software Engineer: No experience with Masters or 3-5 years of experience with Bachelors.
I6: Staff Software Engineer: Masters + 5 years, Bachelors with 10 years.
We are looking for MS-SQL developers to help them develop the Authorize.Net applications. As a software engineer in payment technology team you will help lead, design, enhance and build our services for Customers in an agile development environment. You will be working with colleagues, who will help, support and challenge you every day. Unit testing, code reviewing, and regular check-ins for continuous integration is just part of your DNA. You will start out learning our systems from the ground up, helping to develop secure solutionsto current problems.You will be working on a live production environment and will get excellent ecommerce experience that will help you throughout your career.
Responsibilities:
We expect our engineers to do much more than just writing code:
· Help our client to achieve their real goals by understanding the requirements and how it would help them in their business
· Partner closely with teams to produce an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our merchants
· Architect the next generation of Payment Servicesand Authorize.net Applications by leveraging newer technologies.
· Lead efforts to architect, design, build, iterate and manage our set of applications supporting various aspects of our global transaction processing systems
· Comfortable in leading meeting and discussions with non-technical teams
· Finding the best and most creative solution to many different types of problems
· Write optimized and quality code.
Required Qualifications:
· SQL Server (2005, 2008R2, 2012) – design, modelling and coding experience, unit testing
· Excellent T-SQL coding skills, solving complex business requirements with efficient, secure and highly-optimized T-SQL code
· Performance optimization of SQL stored procedures, functions, jobs using T-SQL, SQL Profiler, DB Tuning Advisor et al
· Fluent with debugging and maintenance of T-SQL stored procedures, functions, cross-table and cross-database queries, SQL CLR, logins, analytical functions, users, tables, views and various objects
· Knows advanced SQL concepts (Transaction Management including nested transactions, Resolving Deadlocks, Partitioning, Change Data Capture, Index maintenance, SQL Agent jobs, Maintenance Plans, Database Administration, Dynamic management views etc.)
· Experienced in high-availability and disaster recovery options (Replication, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, Failover Clustering)
· Experience handling large enterprise class databases supporting online transaction processing
· Driven and self-motivated. Work creatively to solve challenging problems
· Willingness to work with different technologies
Nice to have:
· Data modelling including warehousing concepts
· Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)) is a huge plus
· Experience with AlwaysOn, ColumnStore Index, In-memory OLTP, advanced T-SQL analytical functions
· Experience with tools and/or add-on like SQL Sentry Plan explorer, RedGate Software, GoldenGate etc.
· C#,.NET 2.0-4.5Visual Studio 2010/2013
· Experience with No-SQL
· Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM
· Excellent written and communication skills and leadership potential
