Responsibilities:

• Administration of Jira and the Atlassian application suite, including Confluence, Crowd, etc.
• Implement custom configurations that provide advanced workflow.
• Evaluate and implement third-party plugins that help extend the tool to supplement the needs of our teams.
• Continually improve infrastructure and system maintainability.

 

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent 4 year technical degree.
• Must have 2+ years of experience administering, configuring and implementing Atlassian products.
• Planning and executing upgrades to Atlassian systems.
• Experience with plug-in development for JIRA and/or Confluence.
• Experience in scripting languages (Groovy, Jelly).
• Working knowledge of Agile Software Development practices.
• Effectively embraces coding practices that promote availability, stability and maintainability.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• Good communications skills are essential as all members of the team will have direct exposure to the business.
• Prototype creative solutions quickly.
• Provide timely and appropriate communication to business owners, stakeholders and users on issue status and resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Possess awareness of business issues and their impact on product development.
