Position:: Technical Analyst with MEGA Tool skill

Location:: Bloomington, IL

Duration:: 18 months

 

Technical/Functional Skills :-

 

·         Core Skill required: HP Universal CMDB and CMDB Browser and its Management

·         Background in service management disciplines or ability to learn.  Service Coordinator is a prime role that provides the background needed for this role.

·         Ability to communicate well with business partners.

 

The daily tasks include :-

 

·         ensuring the tools are performing/functioning as intended

·         working Incident and problem records to resolution

·         evaluating the need to apply upgrades/fixes/patches to the tool

·         assisting vendor in co;;;iollecting data to address problems

·         working with End users on data gaps and inaccuracies.

 

The role will involve some consulting, in addition to serving as a lead technical resource on projects requiring data from uCMDB and other authoritative sources.    

 

Technical skills that would be beneficial in this role include :-

 

·         SSL certificate creation, installation, and maintenance

·         LDAP management for end user authentication

·         Server ownership experience

·         Microsoft Windows administration                                             

·         Command Line Administration (SSH, WMI, PowerShell)

·         Scripting Language Experience (Python, Bash, Perl, etc.)

·         Relational Database Experience (SQL)

·         Network design and support
