Title: Project Manager - Release Management

Job description:
Replatform Release Management Responsibilities:
· High Availability Testing
o Coordinating with various teams needed to do the following:
§ Determine and document environment strategy
§ Ensure environment is set-up (in progress). This includes prepping SUPW once it is available.
§ Create detailed plan for conducting test
§ Test logistics (room, scripts, tracker, etc.)
§ Oversee test event and issue resolution
§ Please note: test will need to be conducted once in UAT and again in Prod with go-live
· Disaster Recovery Testing
o Same planning steps and process as HA testing
o Please note: test will need to be conducted once in UAT and again in Prod with go-live
· Load/Performance Testing
o Same planning steps and process as HA/DR testing
o Please note: test will need to be conducted once in UAT and again in Prod with go-live
· Cutover Planning
o Create a detailed list of tasks, timeline, and teams to migrate tested functionality from UAT to Prod at go-live
o Includes coordinating and creating a new plan (not a template) with numerous teams (i.e. Cache Team, Interconnect, Linux Team, Networking, Infrastructure, Web Apps, etc.). This will involve meetings and discussions with these teams to craft the details of the plan, determine roles/responsibilities, etc.
o Create a rollback plan and contingency plan
o Plan for downtime, notifications, etc.
o Determine go/no-go decision checkpoints and who will be involved in these
o Cutover logistics (issue tracking, issue escalation/communication, etc.)
o Create detailed plan for post go-live support and issue management
· Post-Go-Live Operational and Support Model Planning
o Coordinate and plan operational and support model/strategy with the various teams that will be impacted
o Transition planning and management
· Service Desk Changes and Training
o Review current MyHealth scripts
o Gap analysis
o Update workflow documentation
o Plan and schedule training session/logistics
o Create training materials
o Conduct training
· Marketing/Communications
o Run weekly content review sessions
o Track progress and maintain schedule
o Capture content revisions
o Update stories with revised content
