Position:  Transmission Software development engineer

Location:  Mossville/Peoria

Duration:  6 months (Extendable)

 

JD

·         Responsibilities include development of new control and application features for Transmissions as well as software maintenance and the resolution of software defects.

·         Regression testing of code is also a critical ability.

·         4 yr Engineering degree (CEE, EE)

·         Experience with embedded software in C language and control systems development including some of

·         Transmission/Engine/Hydraulic/Vehicles

·         Experience and understanding of embedded software development processes including some of: developing, testing, production, and product support

·         10+ years embedded systems experience

·         Experience with configuration/versioning tools

·         Experience with Vector CAN development tools (CANape/CANalyzer)

·         Knowledge of implementing CAN/1939 data link parameters

·         Knowledge of embedded data link tools

·         Experience with data files and scripts to modify, develop, and test software

·         Experience with ARM or PPC Motorola 32 bit processors

·         Experience with Wind River or Diab C Compilers

·         Knowledge of Simulink and Matlab

·         Experience with Hardware Application Layer and FPGA software
