Position:  Diesel Engines System/ Test Engineer Senior

Location:  Mossville/Peoria

Duration:  6 months (Extendable)

 

JD

·         Systems engineer responsible for diesel engine electrical component and software integration. Engineer will

·         design control and diagnostics strategies of varying complexity to meet emissions regulation and reliability

·         goals. Engineer will develop data link and service requirements for varying engine systems and will collaborate

·         with internal engine performance customers along with requirements engineers, software developers, and

·         validation resources. Job Scope includes validation testing of control and diagnostic strategies while utilizing

·         proactive Design FMEA methodolodies.

·         [?] Required Qualifications:

·         BSEE or BSME

·         Ability to understand and navigate c code and Simulink models

·         Ability to understand and troubleshoot data link messaging

·         Ability to use Vector based tools, oscilliscopes, voltage and current meters for design analysis and

·         troubleshooting

·         Strong Orgnizational and Communication skills

·         Strong electrical hardware and software troubleshooting skills

·         5+ years Engine domain knowledge
