Technical Business System Analyst at Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Billings Montana

Position: Technical Business System Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, Des Moines, and Billings Montana

Duration: 18 months

Rate: Around $50 Hr C2C

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, and five years of system analyst experience working in a complex and dynamic software environment. 2 years Agile/Scrum or Iterative project experience highly desired.

Experience with the following technologies: Java/J2EE, Oracle 10g/11g, MSSQL or PLSQLSQL, JDBC, SOAP/Restful Web Services, Web sphere, HTML/CSS, AJAX, JSP/JSTL, JSON, HTML, CSS

Responsibilities:

·         Document system requirements and high level designs

·         Define and refine process models which enable upstream and downstream business process integration

·         Identify dependencies and asses change impact for new platform enhancements and system integrations

·         Provide guidance and best practices for leveraging imaging platform capabilities

·         Facilitate and document meetings and workshops with partners and team members

·         Develop communication/engagement plans for business and technology partners

·         Demonstrated experience in communicating with senior management across multiple lines of business

·         Proven track record in Business Process Management, utilizing UML or other industry standard requirements methodology

·         Proven experience with content management technology a plus

·         Demonstrated experience with meeting facilitation and delivery of presentations to senior management audiences

 

Requirements/Skills:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant area
• Hands-on experience working with business and technical partners to capture and develop detailed requirements
• Experience working as a Business System Analyst with a proven track record of increasing responsibility
• Experience working in an Agile or iterative delivery environment
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications
• Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how we partner with business team members
• Experience working in a complex environment successfully delivering multiple parallel work tracks
• An ability to deal with ambiguity and a demonstrated desire for continuous personal growth
• An ability to work with distributed teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
