Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Location:  Melville NY

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Duration:  6 Months CTH

Details:

Senior Basis Consultant, responsible for the Solution Manager (7.1) Implementation and Netweaver EP upgrade (from 7.01 - 7.4) with the role that will include close collaboration with the Developers and other operations teams in IT and infrastructure.

 

Mandatory Skills:

* Minimum 5 year Experience in SAP Netweaver Basis

* End to End implementation and SAP release upgrade experience

* Good communication skills (verbal & written)

 

Solution Manager Implementation:

* Plan, Build Configure SAP Solution Manager for the SAP Landscape

* Install Diagnostic agents for Child systems Connect them with Solution Manager

* Basic Configurations in Solution Manager like Define System Landscape & LMDB, EWA, MOPZ etc...

 

Netweaver Upgrade & Operational Support:

* Support SAP Technical & Infrastructure teams to review the sizing

* Use Solution Manager for Upgrade assessment, Upgrade dependency analysis, and Create Maintenance Transaction for software download

* Define and Document Upgrade strategies

* Follow SAP Best Practices for Upgrade

* Perform SAP System copy Installations

* Perform SAP Netweaver Release upgrade

* Research on Upgrade issues and identify solutions

* Responsible for Performance Tuning, and Monitoring of SAP Application / Netweaver

* SAP SUM Tool Experience

* Understanding SSO and Integration scenarios with other SAP systems

* Knowledge of SAP NWDI & NWDS
