Role : Scrum Master
Location for this position : Minneapolis, MN, US
Duration of hiring : 6months
Extension Possible : Yes
- Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective, and product demos.
- Interface with personnel and product owners on an active basis to manage product backlog and sprint activities
- Remove obstacles and manage risks to enable team efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing, and leveraging metrics to continuously improve the team's efficiency and performance
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of Business Project Management or equivalent experience in the total Project Management life cycle with increasing levels of complexity
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing or performing IT development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
- Experience working with Iterative development
- Ability to apply Scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts
- Strong leadership and organization skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project planning, people and team building skills
- Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints
- Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; Masters level degree desirable
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Scrum Master (CSM) certification desirable
