Websphere MQ and WMB Developer:-

Location:- Indianapolis IN

Duration:- 6 months

 

 we have a 6 month project to convert existing message flows from v7 to v9 of the Broker Toolkit and a proposal for a 3 year application development contract. 

.       They are upgrading to v9 (Integration Bus) in Q1 2015.  So v9 experience would be a plus, but not a requirement.

2.       Developers also need to understand ant scripts, as they are responsible for providing the build script to KAR's Software Configuration Management (SCM) team.

 

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

-          Designing, developing and implementing MQ Broker integrations -          Review, analyze, modify, and create documentation and unit test of MQ Broker integration components -          Troubleshoot technical issues with Middleware Messaging Platform & perform root cause analysis -          Provide estimates for work to be completed for specific assigned tasks -          Translate functional requirements into integration designs -          Provide integration and development best practices -          Integrate legacy applications, web services, databases, Java applications and business process management services in order to build advanced Enterprise Service Bus solutions. -          Understanding of Eclipse, Java, JMS and JDBC, XML and XpathBasic, SOAP and WSDLBasic

Required Skills

-          IBM WebSphere MQ & Message Broker v7+  (IBM Integration Bus v9 preferred) -          Oracle (Client is currently using 11g)

Required Experience

-          Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience with integration solutions/MQ Broker. -          Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience with SQL Server or Oracle
