Position: Java Developer

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL

Duration: 3 to 6 months (extension possible)

 

 

 

Qualifications Basic

•          Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education

•          At least  6 years of IT experience in below Skill Set

Preferred

•          At least 6 years of experience in Java based software development Skills  involving below

•          Java / J2EE

•          Core Java

•          Linux and Unix based operating systems

•          Data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, performance and caching

•          JSP, Web Services, Tomcat, XML JAXB ,Mongo, Spring, Hibernate, Elastic Search

•          Maven, Subversion, JIRA,

•          At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.

•          At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.

•          At least 3 years of experience in Design and architecture review.

•          Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

•          Experience in Retail domain is a plus.

•          Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills.

•          Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

•          Good communication skills.

•          Experience in Agile methodologies.
