Job Title:             Senior Hadoop Developer

Location:             Milwaukee, WI

Duration:             6 months + up to 1 Year

Client:                  TCS

Technical/Functional Skills:       

•             Senior Hadoop Developer/Architect with 8 + years of experience

•             Interact with customer's IT and business team for requirements, workshops, metric definition and reviews.

•             Understand customer's Business processes and pain areas which need attention.

•             Source system understanding and analysis.

•             Solution Architecture for the entire flow from source to end reporting data marts.

•             Design Conceptual and physical datamodel for a global datawarehouse.in the Hadoop world (ETL versus ELT)

•             HADOOP Expertise

•             Hive/HBase

•             SQOOP

•             Connectors (using and building) for ORCL, Mainframes in data ingestion

•             Incremental data load

•             Programming MR Jobs

•             High Level & Low Level design for ETL Components in IBM Information Server 8.x, Interaction with Oracle

Roles & Responsibilities:

•             Data Engineer/Architect, Designer and Review of deliverables.

Generic Managerial Skills:

Presentation skills, Issue management, Analytical skills

Education:

B Tech or any Equivalent
