Start Date: ASAP End Date: 12/31/2015 (Extension of one year)
Main skill sets looking for SAN Storage, Backup/Recovery, Storage Area Networks,Avamar,Data Domain system of your choice, and Data Domain Boost
Details of Position:
The person will be responsible for 24X7 production support and design and
implementation. Configure and manage backup/recovery to meet business needs.
Develops customized storage management/back-up and recovery software
installations to established procedures. Designs, builds, tests, implements, and
documents storage and back-up and recovery solutions to established procedures.
Evaluates, recommends, develops, implements, and supports storage and back-up
and recovery solutions to fulfill business requirements. Designs customized storage
and back-up recovery environment to meet applications requirements. Analyzes
data or information to make general recommendations to others. Works within the
company's policies and practices to meet work group objectives.
Management Skills:
Design and document backup/recovery process. Customize storage infrastructure to
meet UPS business requirements for backup/recovery. Establish process and
procedures for Business Continuity and data security.
Primary Skill: Backup/Recovery, Storage Area Networks
Additional Skills:
EMC Backup Recovery tools is a plus. Networker, Data Domain, Avamar
UNIX Fundamentals - Intermediate
Linux System Administration - Intermediate
