Title: Datastage/ QualityStage Developer
Location: Nashville, TN
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE

Top Three Skills:
1. Datastage/ QualityStage- Minimum 3 -5 years' experience- This person will be designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions into client's new DW. Looking for more of a QualityStage specialist, there is no percentage. If they are a hotshot informatica person they have the ability to move to DataStage.
2. Data Integration- 2 years' experience. This person will be working to integrate data between the Database (Oracle 11g/12g), Datawarehouse (Netezza), and other applications to include EBS and Salesforce.
3. Transactional Environment- Must have one year working in a high volume transactional environment.
Job Description: The client is in the process of building out a new Data environment to include moving from DB2 to Oracle, Implementing Oracle EBS, Implementing Netezza as their DW, and moving to Datastage as their primary ETL function. Currently on staff they have one ETL developer and need additional resources to get the project moving from more of maintenance mode to design, implementing mode. This person will be designing, developing, testing and implementing their ETL processes within Datastage.
Additional Information: The client is currently building out their Data Services group and currently have 14 people on Staff. Based on their currently workload they should have 25-30 people in this group and plan on growing here before March 1st, 2015. The environment is a bit chaotic as they are going through creating a new team and developing some processes.
- Understanding of Oracle RDBMS
- SQL and PL/SQL development skills in a multi-tier, SOA environment are required
- Proficient in flat file formats, XML within PL/SQL, and file format conversion
- Proficient in web services development
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies
- Understanding of model driven development
- Understanding of ETL best practices
- Hands-on experience with design and development best practices
- Proficient in working with technical and business teams to extract and document data integration/exchange requirements
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
