SAP Business Objects Administrator
SAP Business Objects administrator who has experience with Business Objects XI 3.1 and Business Objects 4.x environments. This experience should include the installation and configuration of the software on the cluster nodes and management of the services in the Central Management Console. Experience with upgrading an environment from XI 3.1 to 4.x is desirable.
Mandatory skills
▫Experience installing and configuring SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1
▫Experience installing and configuring SAP Business Objects Enterprise 4.x
▫Experience installing, configuring and managing multi-node cluster of Business Objects Enterprise Server
▫Experience installing Business Objects Enterprise Server in a Windows hosted environment
▫Experience configuring Tomcat application server
▫Experience with the Upgrade Management Tool to move Business Objects content from XI 3.1 to 4.x environments
▫Experience investigating and resolving issues identified by BI developers and users
▫Experience with SAP Business Objects Life Cycle Manager/Promotion Management
▫Experience developing reports in Web Intelligence and Desktop Intelligence
▫Strong documentation skills
▫Able to work well with a team of developers, analysts, and testers
▫Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements and priorities
▫Ability to work alone after given direction
▫Ability to train or communicate well with AITS staff and other consultants for effective turnover and knowledge transfer of assignments
Preferred skills
▫Experience developing and publishing Crystal Reports in a Business Objects
Enterprise Server environment
▫ Experience developing and publishing Xcelsius dashboards in a Business Objects Enterprise Server environment
▫Experience with Universe Designer (both XI 3.1 and 4.x versions)
▫Experience configuring security privileges, access levels and assignments within the Business Objects CMC with understanding of the inheritance rules and the effects.
Bonus skills
▫Experience with Information Design Tool (UNX universes)
▫Experience with customizing the BI Launchpad interface.
