Dynamics AX 2012 Finance Functional and Implementation Specialist
Looking for a true consultant with very strong AX 2012 skills and strong Finance experience.
The person should have some exposure to Purchasing too just from a Req. to Pay standpoint as they will be leading that effort.
The specialist is responsible for developing and implementing an enhanced Dynamics AX based solution for one of the financial areas: General Accounting, Payables or Receivables. The Dynamics AX Specialist will be a member of the Functional Support team based in Pittsburgh, PA. The team is responsible for implementations, enhancements and day to day support of the ERP solutions utilized at US, Canada and Mexico.
Key responsibilities
· Dynamics AX2012 Implementation
o Develop the MS Dynamics AX 2012 template for North America
o Implement MS Dynamics AX Finance modules and participate in assessment, design, setup, test, conversion and go-live phases
· The person should have some exposure to Purchasing too just from a Req. to Pay standpoint as they will be leading that effort.
o Implement the template at the pilot location and later at all plants in the region
o Work with key users, understand business needs, create functional design documents and development specifications, test the solution, help in training sessions
· Dynamics AX2012 integration
o Establish interfaces between AX and other external systems
o Specify the functional design, work together with the technical team
· Improvements/Enhancements
o Initiate and pursue process improvements to increase efficiency
o Specify the business requirements and translate it to the system language
o Design, develop, test and support the solution
· Day to day support
o Provide functional support for their entities working in Dynamics AX
o Investigate and analyse reported issues and deliver the resolution in a timely manner
o Fix system issues/bugs and work together with Microsoft, and their technical team
Key requirements
| Work Experience | Professional expertise in the design and implementation of MS Dynamics AX Finance modules Working in a change management, project or support role Shared Services experience is an advantage

| Education | Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology |
| Functional Knowledge | Cross module knowledge and experience Strong analytical and independent decision making skills. Ability to identify and effectively resolve issues |
|
| Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong client relationship skills with the ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization
|
| Language
| Fluency in English |
| People Management | Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Project management experience is an advantage
