Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 6+ months

Primary Skills : Tivoli Configuration Manager

Job Description:  

Perform Patch Deployment using TCM

Perform Software Deployment using TCM

Installing software package and inventory software on the gateways

Creation of Software package blocks for various software

Scheduling the scan at off business hours to reduce network traffic

Querying the inventory information from the database DB2 using inventory query

Handle Profiling Lifecycle (Creation, Testing & Distribution)

Preparing the schedule and send it to customer for the whole activity

Performance of file scanning on the servers and uploading the data to SSS

Should be strong in troubleshooting Windows server/client and Networking issues

Should be Strong in troubleshooting  TCM Deployment Issues

Ability to analyze the problem and drill in to find the root cause and propose the prevention plan

Preventive maintenance of the product

Security aspects of the product and Integration of Active Directory

Build all core documents and procedures associated with all TCM product deployments

Resolving DLL conflicts, registry settings, recognizing applications related problems

 

Technical Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Graduate in any Discipline

Excellent Knowledge of TCM Modules and functions

Extensive knowledge of Deployment processes

Knowledge of other integrated Tivoli Tools.

 

Other Skills / Experience

Desired Windows Server, Active Directory and basics of networking (subnetting etc.)
