Job Title: Operations Network Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 3-6 months (Extension Possible)
Rate : $45/-hr on C2C
Required Skills:-
5+ years of direct, on-the-job experience with network and computer systems in a multi-tenant environment (Managed Services Preferred)
Prior experience with cloud-based services or virtualization
Requires experience with Microsoft and Linux/Unix systems in a virtualized environment
Experience with administrating enterprise network environments and technologies
Experience with scripting languages and management tools such as PowerShell, bash, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Perl, Python, PHP, etc.
Familiarity with data transfer protocols such as REST, SOAP, JSON
Strong knowledge of Support Desk Software with awareness of ITIL Service Desk process
Vendor Certifications CCNA R&S and VCP required; CCNP, MCSE, RHCE preferred
Security compliance experience (ITIL, PCI, ISO 27001 or SOX), preferred
Good working knowledge of Symmetric and Asymmetric cryptography technologies
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to rotate into a 24/7 on-call schedule and respond to mission-critical issues
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills; be adept at communicating with all levels of technical and non-technical people
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development
